As a DHBVN Consumer, you can lodge your complaints/grievances by SMS, E-Mail, Online/Web and by Calling Call Centre. For every lodged grievance, you will get an SMS having complaint number along with expected date of resolution.

DHBVN complaints by SMS

(A) Consumer should send SMS to 5-digit Number 51969
(B) SMS must have format HR DHBVN < account number > < nature of complaint > < town locality or village > . HR and DHBVN are keywords which must be first two words in SMS text. Account number helps DHBVN to correctly identify the Sub-Division, locality helps to identify the relevant JE serving that locality Example SMS : HR DHBVN G21AB123451 meter burnt sector-10
(C) DHBVN will assign a complaint number and Consumer will receive an acknowledgement SMS from TD-DHBVNL mentioning complaint number and expected date of resolution. Example SMS to consumer: Your Complaint No. is 40341 for meter burnt and expected to be resolved by 06/12/2013.
(D) Customer may track the status of complaint by going to DHBVN website and entering the complaint number
(E) Consumer may receive a call from DHBVN staff/Call Centre asking customer location or other details in case they are required
(F) Once the consumer complaint is resolved by DHBVN, a confirmation SMS will be sent to consumer: Your Complaint No: 40341 has been resolved by DHBVN and resolution is – meter replaced If you are satisfied please reply HR DHBVN Y, if not please reply HR DHBVN N

DHBVN Complaints by E-mail

A) Consumer should send E-Mail to : dhbvncgrs@gmail.com This email address should be written in To field of email
(B) In Subject field – consumer must write < account number > < nature of complaint > < town locality or village > . Account number helps DHBVN to correctly identify the Sub-Division, locality helps to identify the relevant Junior Engineer serving that locality Example Subject : G21AB123451 meter burnt sector-10 9910231234 A consumer may write her/his mobile number at end – after writing locality
(C) DHBVN will assign a complaint number and Consumer will receive an acknowledgement email from noreply.dhbvncgrs@gmail.com and SMS from TD-DHBVNL (in case mobile number is provided in email) mentioning complaint number and expected date of resolution. Example SMS to consumer: Your Complaint No. is 40341 for meter burnt and expected to be resolved by 06/12/2013.
(D) Customer may track the status of complaint by going to DHBVN website and entering the complaint number
(E) Consumer may receive a call from DHBVN staff/Call Centre asking customer location or other details in case they are required
