Madhya Pradesh State electricity boards has been split in 3 different utilities or electricity providers in Madhya Pradesh. So the MPEB or Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board is no longer supplying electricity and it is the state distribution companies that are doing so. The three companies are: Madhya Pradesh Pashchim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd. (MPPKVVCL), Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd. (MPMKVVCL) and Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd. (MPPKVVCL). All three of them have different websites for online bill payment. And there are other options as well. Based on convenience and ease of use people can choose one of the multiple methods that are available for making the payment:

MPOnline portal www.mponline.gov.in is the Online initiative of MP Government which provides multiple services that include phone bill payment (both mobile and landline), electricity bill payment, water bill payment, tourism ticket booking etc in Madhya Pradesh. This is the most commonly used and preferred portal by people of Madhya Pradesh.
Procedure to Pay MPEB Online Bill Payment via MP Online Portal :
- Go to http://www.mponline.gov.in/portal/index.aspx?langid=en-US . GO RIGHT now.
- Click on Citizen Services -> Bill Payment

- Select Electricity Bills on Next Page as indicated below :

- Now Select the Company under which your area comes.

- After Selection you will shown City list for that selection. You can go back and select other Company if you are not sure of your area. Check below for your area :

- Enter Service number and Make Payment after that using Credit Card or Debit Card / Net banking.

- Go to http://www.mpcz.co.in/portal/Bhopal_home.portal . Go from HERE.
- This portal is specifically for the consumers of Madhya Kshetra (or central part) of Madhya Pradesh.
- Click on View/Pay your Bill which can be seen on Right Section

- You will redirected to http://www.mpcz.co.in/portal/Bhopal_home.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=custCentre_viewBill_bpl
- Enter Old Service number or Account number,click Submit and proceed with payment. You will be redirected to BillDesk Gateway.

- Go to http://www.mpwz.co.in/portal/Indore_home.portal . GO NOW.
- Click on View & Pay energy Bill for LT which can be seen on right section.
- For Indore and Ujjain you will be asked to go to http://www.billing.mppkvvcl.org/wzltbill.asp
MP electricity Online Bill Payment for Paschim Indore and Ujjain
- For Other Areas you can directly select Service no. or Account no, and proceed with Payment.
MPPKVVCL www.mpez.co.in (Poorv Kshetra)
- Go to http://www.mpez.co.in/portal/Jabalpur_home.portal . Go Now.
- Click on View & Pay Your Bill in right section.
- Enter Service number or Account number, Submit and make Payment.
